Round 5 was crazy. Zoltan did 26:56 to jump into first. Then Kagan had a flight hit the wall and slide down 30 feet before he got it off. It still did over 25 and improved his backup time. He’s now in 3rd. Kang was one of the last to fly and put up a huge 27:59 to jump all the way to 2nd just 18 seconds behind Zoltan. The flight bit the catwalk several times and required a bit of luck to make it down.
Speaking of Kang, he had a midair during practice this morning and his boom was destroyed. He swapped his boom and stab, and only had a few half motor flights to fix the trim.
